Coffee Bean Robinsons Galleria and Starbucks Metrowalk

I can say that the best meet-ups are unplanned. I remember, this group once called a "kaladkarin" (Kaladkarin. From the Tagalog word "kaladkad" meaning "to drag", so "kaladkarin" would mean "draggable [is this even English? I don't know] or easy to drag").

Obviously, this was not a planned meet-up, it was just a last minute invites due to some things that I think, can't be scheduled for another day. Then Jay pops up on viber (which is once in a blue moon thing), so we invited him over and surprisingly, he did (again, very unusual). Then the rest is history. LOL!

We don't see each other often but when there's a get together invites, some showed up, some don't, because of busy schedules and other priorities. But this time, is an extra special. Leo and Edlen and Geraldyn, showed up. Hello, it's been awhile since we last met. Oh well, let me check our history photos: our last meeting was on our Christmas dinner in 2015.

Why Coffee Bean?

Hmmmp.. Somebody's collecting stamps for Coffee Bean 2018 Planner. Just wanna share this, on my way to the meeting place, I saw this post of Kris Aquino in IG and this made me smile. I remembered, I got my first ever Starbucks Planner in 2011 and little did I know, I've been collecting it already every year up to 2016. It stopped in 2017 because there's no more coffee invites in 2016s. Now, I think this is a fresh start. New coffee, new planner? This is my first time here. Well, let's see! Go for the gold. LOL!

A Birthday Celeb in Giligan's

For some reason, I think this was the most memorable moment of my life. Hey, t'was my birthday. I've celebrated it with friends that I don't go out with everyday. T'was really a fun night. We talked about memories, happy and bad and of course, the people we knew.

By the way, someone in the mall approached me to apply for a citibank credit card, in exchange of an umbrella. Because of it, I grabbed the opportunity to own an umbrella for FREE! Hahaha.. Cheap, I know but this made me smile.

I also able to claim my first ever free slice of classic chocolate cake from Stabucks that I've missed for the past 3 years. So sweet! Laveet!

Since we (Ms Honey, Ms Girlie and I) arrived at Robinsons Galleria earlier than the others, we decided to have our dinner at Bonchon. I ordered Thigh Ricebox (1pc) with regular root-beer for PHP95. 

When the boys arrived, they've decided to transfer to Mang Inasal (Jay's choice). When we arrived at Mang Inasal, the place were so messy and dirty! The floor were very dirty and wet, the tables had dirty plates and so messy. Can't find a clean table anywhere in the area. It's like an abandoned but operating place. So we ask assistance to clean a table for us. There's an attendant who clean the table just for us but he never clean the messy tables next to us. OMG! Few minutes later, an old lady slipped. She called the attention of the store manager and demanded for an explanation of a dirty wet floors. Oh gosh, so disappointing place.

After dinner, we moved to starbucks for the usual business or should I say for a 'business meeting'. Hahaha.. Couple of days ago, this group talks a lot about business but for some reason, it slowdown. Then Robert, opened-up the topic for some discussions. Then never realized, all throughout the meeting talked about business. Nice!

It's Edlen's pre-birthday treat! Wow, gulat ako. Di ko inakala, promise! Paano ba naman kc may babala na walang treat na magaganap. Maybe kc late ako. Hahaha.. Akala ko ako na ang pinakahuling dadating un pala, ako talaga. Toinks! Kc ung taong nag-set ng meeting na to ay hindi nakarating kc nakalimutan daw. Ayon tuloy biglang nagkasakit. Ay teka lang, baka naman totoong nagkasakit, bigyan naman natin ng benefit of the doubt. LOL!

Anyways, Happy Birthday, Edlen! Thanks sa treat!

Robinsons Galleria - Veranda

I kinda miss everyone of them. Good thing naisipan ni Ms Girl magpatawag ng coffee. Since mayroong bagong bukas na mall (SM Aura) na medyo malapit, sinaggest ko un. Accordingly, si Edlen ay on call sa bahay kaya di pwede, so sa Gateway, Cubao nalang daw. Meron akong babayarang bills kya kailangan maaga akong pumunta para makapag-ikot-ikot na din dahil matagal na ako hindi lumalabas ng bahay (even in the neighborhood). Pagdating na pagdating ko sa gateway, nagtext sa akin si Jay na sa Galleria nalang daw kc daw pupunta si Leo. Oh, well, nandoon na din lang ako, ikot-ikot muna ako sa mall hanggang sa hinanap ko nalang ang bago kong kinababaliwan ang Mango Cheesecake ng Blizzard! Yikz!

Wala palang Sun Cellular sa Gateway kya sa Robinsons Galleria nalang ako magbayad ng bill. Anyway, I think isa sa mga reason kung bakit di natuloy sa Gateway kc wala si Edlen. Aw! Treat ni Ms Girl coffee ko kya thank you so much. Nag-demmand pa ako ng Vanilla Cream - Venti (with the little help of SB coupon). LOL!

Hayz, bakit kya masaya kasama ang mga to kahit na walang napag-usapan kc busy ang lahat (Ms Girl sa laptop, Leo is working, Jay sa iPad so ako pretending sa maganda kong CP na walang cover). Just seeing them is more than enough to smile!

Nag-shopping si Leo tapos noong nagutom na sya, kumain muna sya sa Greenwich kya doon na namin sya kinatagpo. At dahil gutom na din kami ni Jay, kumain na din kami. Pagkatapos kumain dumiretso na kami sa SB. Doon na namin hinitay si Ms Girl. Sayang lang at di kami kumpleto. Di na tlga ata to mabuo. Hehehe..

Snow White & the Huntsman

Free daw si Ms Girl to meet us kya nag-text sya sa akin para kunin ang gift nya from Ashie (Mug). Syempre inimbitahan ko na din ang grupo kaso si Jay lang daw ang pwede. Kya kita-kits nalang kami sa Robinsons Galeria. Nauna akong dumating doon. Hanap muna ako ng ATM para maka-withdraw pero walang pera ang BPI sa 3rd floor ganun din sa ground floor. Umupo muna ako sa foodcourt para hintayin sila habang iniisip kung saan ako kakain na tatanggap ng Credit Card kc wala akong cash. Naunang nag-text si Jay kya sinalubong ko nalang sya para umakyat kami sa 3rd floor para sa Red Ribbon nalang kami kumain. Syempre, di mawawala ang paborito kung "Bangus ala Pobre with Ultimate Chocolate Cake".

Habang hinihintay ung pagkain namin, dumating na si Ms Girl. Kwentuhan muna. Labasan ng mga nararamdaman sa buhay. Mabigat sa damdamin ang mga napag-usapan kya di magandang balikan. Nakalimutan ko na nga. Ano nga un? Chos!

Pagkatapos kumain nag decide kami manood nalang ng movie na Snow White and the Huntsman para kahit papaano ma-divert ung mabigat na nararamdaman sa dibdib. Ika nga,"watching movies is the best excuse to cry".

Ang ganda ng movie. Hanga ako sa pag-arte ni Charlize Theron (The Queen) kasi ramdam mo ang bawat hinanakit nya. Mga binitawan nyang salita. At naasar ako sa kanya. Patunay lang un na magaling talaga sya para mainis ka sa kanya.

Habang enjoy kami sa panonood, syempre umingay ng kunti, biglang may bading sa harapan namin tumalikod at sinitsitan kami at ang sabi "Ssssst.. Wag nga kayong maingay!" ay waw, bongga. Ang yabang ng lola mo, kung makasitsit kala mo aso lang kami. Pwede namang makisuyo o di kya mahinahong sabihan kami diba? Hay nako, matandang hughugin. Asar! GRRRRR! Panira moments! Pero wala kaming pakialam syo. PANGIT! Hahahaha.

Birthday ni Jay kya nagkayayaang lumabas. Actually, ako ang nagyayang lumabas dahil may mga pasalubong ako dahil kararating ko lang galing ng Zamboanga. At dahil birthday ni Jay, sinulit nalang ang pagkakataong ito para magkasama-sama ulit. Unfortunately, di pwede ang iba kya okay lang.

Robinsons Galleria, Movieworld ang tagpuan kya picture picture muna. hehehe. Kapapanood lang pala ni Ms Girl ng The Avengers habang naghihintay sa amin. Musta naman un. Ganun kami katagal dumating. Hahaha, what's new. Chos! Di naman.

Kumain kami sa Greenwich (Barkada treat para mura), Jay's treat syempre. Kya maraming salamat sa Treat Jay. Sa uulitin ha?

Tapos kwentuhan. Kamushanan. Picturan. Tagal ng di nagkita eh. Nyahahaha.

Mahaba pa ang gabi kya deretso na sa Starbucks para ituloy ang kwentuhan, tawanan at kulitan. Tapos humabol si Rich. Lumalim na ang gabi pero puno puno parin ang kwentuhan parang kauumpisa lang kya lang magsasara na po ang Starbucks. hayzzz.. Picture muna bago alis.

Di pa kya tapos ang kwentuhan, sige lipat nalang tyo. Kya lumipat kami sa gilid ng National Bookstore at doon pinagpatuloy ang kwentuhan. Hanggang nauwi ang usapan sa mga cartoons, movies at TV series. Kumusta naman un? Ang daming TV Series pero nagtapos ang usapan sa CHARMED. May part 2 ba to? Well, palagay ko magkakaroon ng film viewing this weekend ng CHARMED. Ayt! Aabangan ko yan. Sino sino kya ang makakasama? Nang-imbita ba kyo? Mukhang exciting ito. Excited na ako. Excited na akong di matulog ulit. Hahahaha.. Puyatan ito sa weekend. Kumusta naman un.

The Avengers

This is our first time to watch a movie in the first day of showing. I almost can't believe it that I have to fall in line for more than an hour just to get a ticket. Imagine how long that line was. My legs were aching. I wanted to sit down but I can't coz I might lose the line. I almost quit. Good thing, Jay were there to join me. Rich came right before I got battery empty.

Hmm, honestly, I did not watch the entire movie of Iron man 1 & 2. Maybe I've seen part of it but not the entire movie. I've watched Captain America in theater but I get bored with it (sorry to the loyal fans, but that's the truth) and fell asleep in the movie hauz. My bad.

Then why I wanted to watch it on the first day of showing? I have few simple reasons in store: 

1. Because of Chris Evans (He's also the reason why I watched Captain America)

2. Because of Scarlett Johansson

3. Because of Jeremy Renner

4. Because the Philippines is a week advantage from America and the rest of the world

5. Because its been talk-of-the-town for months now

6. Because of too many famous actors in one movie

Of course, these reasons are not your reasons so please.. don't argue.

Is this movie worth to fall in line for more than an hour? For Php 300.00 (3D) includes popcorn and soda, YES! Its worth it. Super worth it! Full of action, from start to finish. All of the characters are so much unique from each other. I even think to get bored or will not be interested with one of the characters but I was wrong. The movies was also so funny. You will laugh at them. Literally! I can't get over with Hulk on what he did on Loki. I enjoyed it a lot. No regrets for falling in line for so long. Because of this, I'm planning to watch it again. And even can't wait to have a copy of DVD for this movie. Hayzzz.
